Nuno Bettencourt recruta Taylor Hawkins e Nancy Wilson em cover de “Barracuda”, do Heart

O guitarrista Nuno Bettencourt, do Extreme, é um dos músicos que mais se destacam nesse período de isolamento social com publicações de vídeos que mostram colaborações virtuais.

Ele compartilhou recentemente em suas redes sociais uma cover do clássico “Barracuda”, do Heart, para a série especial “Nuno Bettencourt & Friends” do canal AXS.

Para esta versão, ele se juntou com Nancy Wilson do Heart na guitarra, Taylor Hawkins do Foo Fighters na bateria, Derek Frank no baixo, e contou com os magníficos vocais da cantora Liv Warfield, ex-integrante da New Power Generation, a banda do Prince.

Wanted to share the 4th and final performance of Barracuda I did on the AT HOME AND SOCIAL show on AXSTV. This is my directors cut in which I gave the video just a little extra love on the editing side it deserved. I remember my younger self hearing Barracuda on the radio and stopping everything I was doing To really vibe with it. This song was super influential on me. The groove The riff The solo… so tasty and memorable I just had to stay true to it for you. And an incomparable vocal performance from Anne Wilson … that many few females can pull off till this day.
